Christmas season in Kingston ROCKS!
Join us Saturday, December 2nd with activities for kids from one to ninety-three!
3 pm - Grand Opening of Port Offices
3:30 pm – Musical Performances by Kingston High School Jazz Band and Choir
3:30 to 7 pm – Complimentary hot cocoa and cookies for kids in the big tent. Adults are invited to visit the Holiday Spirits Garden for mulled spiced wines, craft brews, and spirited warm cocktails. Food vendors on-site too.
4:30 pm – Danny Vernon, Elvis personified, will perform Presley’s favorites, including Christmas songs.
5 pm – Santa arrives and launches the dramatic lighting of the Christmas tree and port. Enjoy the largest display in Kitsap County, with half a million individual lights. Each of the light figures are hand-made by volunteers, with thousands of LED lights forming flowers, sea creatures, and other holiday images. The glorious display will remain lit every evening until December 30th.
After the tree lighting, kids 14 and under will enjoy a Christmas Scavenger Hunt around the Port. Scavenger hunt cards will be available in the big tent and the port office. Kids can turn in their completed card to earn a prize from Little City Candy Company and Kingston Mercantile & Marine. The Scavenger hunt will continue through January 7th, 2018 but prizes are limited to one child, please!
5:15 pm – Boats in Kingston Cove light up for their floating Parade thanks to Kingston Cove Yacht Club. Each is festooned with imaginative Christmas lights and decorations, which shimmer on the water. View and photograph the boats and enjoy the Parade as they sail out of the Port at 5:30 pm.
