Many consumer and personal care products that we use every day contain chemicals that disrupt our hormones.  A large body of scientific evidence indicates that these endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDC's) cause or contribute to many diseases and health issues in humans and other species.  This talk explores how EDC's in personal care products harm our health; specific health effectss; why our children are especially vulnerable; and actions that we can take individually and collectively to reduce the exposures of our families.  Taught by Dr. Fran Solomon, who holds a bachelors degree in biology, a master's degree in environmental health, and a PhD in fisheries.  She teaches environmental science at Western Washington University on the Peninsulas.  Open to the public.  Free, and no registration required.

Location Village Green Community Center - Community Room, 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston, WA 98346
Open to the public. Free to attend. No registration required.
