You are invited to the Artists Reception for the new fall exhibit going up in the Village Green Community Center Lobby. The exhibition features: Steve Parmelee, a found-object assemblage artist who explores the timeless while utilizing the time-worn. His work is part of the permanent collection at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Also featured: Diane Haddon, a multi-media artist working in collage, mixed media and found object assemblage. Her most recent series was inspired by her collection of vintage photographs of children. And: Tim Beckstrom, assemblage artist who includes garlic stems and other plant objects, bones, driftwood and rusty machine parts in his work---many of which reflect a sense of "Home". Free to attend---but adults only, please. Wine and cheese will be provided, along with the opportunity to speak and meet with the artists.
