Join the Suquamish Community Advisory Council from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, April 6 at the Suquamish Police Department to hear from Kitsap County’s Solid Waste Division of Public Works on the Adopt-A-Spot and other litter cleanup programs. The SCAC will also get reports on school traffic and additional local events and activities.
The meeting takes place in the Suquamish Police Training Room, 18490 Suquamish Way, Room 1188, on the lower, west side of the building. Parking is available off the driveway on the lower level.
The community is welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be time for public comment and questions.
Save the date for the annual Suquamish Community Cleanup, taking place 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22. Meet at the Suquamish Unitarian Church of Christ, 18732 Division Ave. NE to pick up safety vests and trash bags. Volunteers are needed. Please bring your own gloves. Everyone is welcome to join this Earth Day event!
