Latest News from the Chamber
Kingston's 3rd annual Scarecrow Crawl 2026 is now live! Visit local businesses and vote for your favorite before 5pm on Halloween! Link to digital map and voting: https://app.explorekingstonwa.com/scarecrow
We're also rallying downtown Kingston businesses who want to offer treats to do so from 3-5pm on Saturday, 10/31 as part of a "Spooktacular Treat Trail". If you don't have a physical presence downtown but would like to participate, email tourism@kingstonchamber.com and we'll help you find a spot to set up a tent/table/car trunk or another way to participate! Afterwards, you can encourage families to visit the Village Green where the Kiwanis will be hosting their annual Halloween Carnival free from 5-7pm on 10/31.
If you're over 21, then you won't want to miss the best Halloween party for the adults: the Ghoulish Gala masquerade ball at Port Gamble Theater, starting at 7pm on 10/31. This event sold out last year and with good reason: live band, cocktails, "boo-fet" and scrumptious desserts in a beautiful haunted theater! Tickets can be purchased through partner PrettyStick, which coincidentally also sells Halloween costumes in Port Gamble!
Save those costumes for our first Kingston 5k: "Not Afraid of the Dark" Kingston Fun Run on Saturday, November 7th starting at 3pm! Can you outrun the dark?! Runners and walkers welcome and costumes encouraged, with prizes for best costumed runners! Run will start at the Yard Fitness Club in Kingston and end with a finish line party at the Port of Kingston with a "Light up the Night" beer garden fundraiser for Kingston 4th of July, booths, music, and lots of glow-in-the-dark swag! Runners register here!
Save the date for Kingston's hometown holiday market kick-off on Sunday, November 29th and for the annual Kingston Cove Christmas including the Port of Kingston's spectacular light show on Saturday, December 5th!
Celebrate Women-Owned Businesses in North Kitsap
Sunday, March 8th was International Women’s Day — a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. And March is Women’s History Month! Here in North Kitsap, we’re fortunate to have an incredible group of women entrepreneurs who pour their creativity, resilience, and heart into our community every single day. The Greater Kingston Chamber is proud to acknowledge and celebrate our amazing local women-owned businesses. You likely already frequent many of these establishments — and if you do, thank you! If not (or if it’s been a while), now is the perfect opportunity to stop in, make a purchase, leave a review, or simply say hello and show your support. If you see your favorite woman in business while out and about, post a social media shout out and tag the Chamber to be reshared!
