Sabrina and Maria connected over their love for food, their family and their culture. Sabrina was born and raised in Mar del Plata, Argentina and moved to the U.S. at 19 years old. She lived in Brandon, Mississippi for 15 years before moving to Washington and worked as Executive Chef at the Fairview Inn in Jackson, Mississippi, During her time at the Inn, she won 1st place at the Innkeeper Breakfast Cook-off hosted by the Louisiana/Mississippi Bed & Breakfast Association in 2009. She now lives in Poulsbo with her husband and two kids. Maria was born and raised in Sonsonate, El Salvador and moved to the U.S. at 13 years old. During her senior year of high school Maria attended the Culinary Arts program at West Sound Technical Skills Center. In 2010, she was awarded the West Sound Tech Foundation Equipment Scholarship. She is newly married and lives in Kingston with her husband and their sweet dog. Together they started Argensal in March of 2019. The name comes from Argentina and El Salvador together. They are excited to share their culture with you all through food.
